CUBASE 9 – How to REMOVE BREATHS from a VOCAL Track

Here’s a very cool Cubase feature that I want to show you today on How to REMOVE BREATHS from a VOCAL Track.
Removing breaths is not something I do much on a mix but sometimes they can cause some problems on a mix and this is when tend to get rid of them.

They’re several ways you can remove noises and breaths out of a vocal track, you can use a gate but I’m not a big fan of ”gating” a lead vocal. A lead vocal is often very dynamic so using a gate is not the perfect solution.

There’s a special way of doing so in Cubase which is pretty easy. This is what I’m gonna share with you in this video.

Hope you enjoy!
