MIXING & MASTERING in STUDIO ONE
is a brand new course from my good friend Joe Gilder who runs Home Studio Corner. In the year 2017, Joe set himself a goal to write and release four EP’s. Lately, Joe has been in the recording process of his third EP and he is now ready to mix and master it.
In this course, he will document the entire process of mixing and mastering these four songs, step by step. Yes, four songs…not one… FOUR. Mixing and mastering an EP or an album is a completely different workflow than working on only one song.
How do you maintain a consistent tone and volume across all the songs? How do you manage the files? Do you work from templates? A bunch of these questions will be answered by Joe while he mixes and masters his new EP with you.
Joe is a STUDIO ONE user and he is known to mix almost everything with stock plugins. If you’re a STUDIO ONE user, this is a plus but if you use any other DAW, NO WORRIES, you can definitely follow Joe’s process using your favourite DAW and you will learn some good stuff for sure.
