Understanding POST FADER INSERTS
In the new Cubase 9.5 update, we have access to 16 inserts and now able to determine how many of them are POST and PRE FADER. In older versions of Cubase, the last 2 inserts of every channel are POST FADER INSERTS. But what is a POST FADER INSERT and in which mixing situation can we use this?
In this video, I will explain the difference between the two and show you an example of using a Plugin as a Post Fader Insert. I have to say though that most of the time I use my plugins in PRE FADER during mixing but it’s always good to know how and when to use POST FADER INSERTS.
