How to CREATE your own DRUM SAMPLES

Here’s a quick video where I show you how I create my drum samples. That is something I do every time I record acoustic drums and it’s very useful afterward when editing my drums.

If I have a problem with one or more drum hits, I can use those samples and manually replace the problematic hits. I can also replace the snare sound with a sampled sound out of the same recording to fix some problems like high hat bleed for instance.

This is actually the example I use in this video where the snare has a lot of high hat bleed in one of the choruses. I ended up solving my problem by replacing the snare sound in that chorus only and I show all the steps I take to do so.

Hope you’ll enjoy!
