For today’s Plugin Friday, I will look into the latest plugin from MeterPlugs, the Loudness Penalty Plugin.
 
Online streaming services turn down loud music to ensure a more balanced and consistent listening experience. 
Which is a good thing since we don’t need to over compress our music to make it louder anymore… aka “The Loudness War”. The Loudness Penalty plugin shows how much our music will be turned down or up by the main streaming services out there, and that within your DAW.

*Sorry but I forgot to mention a detail in the video…to get the exact reading value of the plugin you need to play the whole song from start to end. That will give you more accurate results.
